Art On Plywood
For this series, Jyoti is bringing together images that make people think outside, in many different ways. He started with a collection of climbers and then splashed in some nature. The collection has continued to grow, including a variety of outdoor adventure sports. The medium is acrylic on plywood, where he occasionally uses the texture/woodgrain with different stains to be incorporated in the imagery. Some of the pieces are coated with ecopoxy for a shiny finish, while other pieces are finished in a matte style. This ever-expanding collection is an expression of Jyoti’s own style of photo realism, where he uses local photography as inspiration.
